2009 – Planer Stand

My lunch box planer is one of the first power tools I purchased in 2003.   It was used on many projects and moved by it’s handles many times.    This is a very heavy machine to be moving around.

My need was to solve the problem of moving the planer by hand and having a GOOD setup for planing operations.    In addition it really needed to be hooked into the dust collection system.

The result is a very simple cart.   Five pieces of 3/4″ Home Depot Sandeply and two pieces of MDF.    Lots of Kreg Pocket holse screws and some heavy duty casters.    Good Result.  Also gave me some storage of jigs that did not really have a home.
